One Piece #52: 5 Stars[8。53 - phenomenal]This Volume was incredible。 I adore not only the side characters that we got to meet/spent time with but the plot is simply going crazy。 The Crew is up against enemies that they cannot win against in their current state and even though I know what is going to happen （reread） I am still feeling all the tension。 I love every single little nod to Zoros injuries from Thriller Bark and the way Sanji and Brook are trying to get him to stay put because they know One Piece #52: 5 Stars[8。53 - phenomenal]This Volume was incredible。 I adore not only the side characters that we got to meet/spent time with but the plot is simply going crazy。 The Crew is up against enemies that they cannot win against in their current state and even though I know what is going to happen （reread） I am still feeling all the tension。 I love every single little nod to Zoros injuries from Thriller Bark and the way Sanji and Brook are trying to get him to stay put because they know he's on the brink of death。Rayleigh is such an amazing character we got introduced to and Kizaru has made his appearance as well。 We got more time with Law， Kidd， Hawkins， Drake and Co。 （Am I close to crying everytime I see Killer because I am way too emotional about Killer because of current One Piece events？ YES YES I AM）This also had one of my favorite Moments/Quotes from the series - a scene between Luffy， Law and Kidd about their determination and dreams。 While I gave almost every chapter a 7 （Amazing！） or a 6 （really great。） this simply adds up to a 8 （phenomenal） Volume because of it's pacing and lack of any negative from me at all。 + it simply gave me all the 5 Star feels so there is that。So excited to continue this reread。 The amount of comfort I felt while reading this Volume was insane - it was like a hug to me ♥ 。。。more

Good volume！ We pick up with the crew meeting the ship repairer and turns out its Rayleigh， the vice cap of Pirate King's crew and he tells them of his last moments and words and how the pirate age began and it was inspiring， and even hinted at the void century and one piece but Luffy tells him no as he wants to continue that adventure and it was fun！ I loved how we get teases but then they are attacked by kuma and Admiral Kizaru and its fun！ The big battle starts！ Fun volume and amazing world b Good volume！ We pick up with the crew meeting the ship repairer and turns out its Rayleigh， the vice cap of Pirate King's crew and he tells them of his last moments and words and how the pirate age began and it was inspiring， and even hinted at the void century and one piece but Luffy tells him no as he wants to continue that adventure and it was fun！ I loved how we get teases but then they are attacked by kuma and Admiral Kizaru and its fun！ The big battle starts！ Fun volume and amazing world building and payoffs！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Menudo tomo， me ha tenido en vilo de principio。 La parte de la casa de subastas me pareció realmente muy buena， pero todo lo que ha venido después me ha parecido sencillamente brutal。 Se nota que nos estamos acercando a algo muy， muy grande。 Y es que en este tomo están condensados algunos de los momentos más importantes y decisivos de toda la historia。 Ya solo la parte en la que Camie es rescatada tiene su enjundia。 El golpe que Luffy le propina a un Tenryubito ， por más merecido que lo tuviera Menudo tomo， me ha tenido en vilo de principio。 La parte de la casa de subastas me pareció realmente muy buena， pero todo lo que ha venido después me ha parecido sencillamente brutal。 Se nota que nos estamos acercando a algo muy， muy grande。 Y es que en este tomo están condensados algunos de los momentos más importantes y decisivos de toda la historia。 Ya solo la parte en la que Camie es rescatada tiene su enjundia。 El golpe que Luffy le propina a un Tenryubito ， por más merecido que lo tuviera este， y más satisfactorio que resulte para el lector， desata un pandemónium en la casa de subastas。 Maravilloso el momento en que Luffy， Law y Kid trabajan juntos para librarse de los marines que han sido llamados por los Nobles mundiales para derrotar a todos los insurgentes， me ha encantado lo bestias que son esos tres。 De todas maneras de este lio nuestros chicos solo pueden salir gracias a la providencial ayuda de Silver Rayleigh， personaje que ya conocimos en el volumen anterior， y que resulta ser， ni más ni menos， que el primero al mando del rey de los piratas Gol。 D。 Roger， y una leyenda viva por derecho propio en el universo de ´One Piece ´´。 Y a lo largo de los capítulos y sus actuaciones durante los mismos， deja muy claro porque。 Sin duda alguna creo que es uno de los personajes más poderosos que han aparecido en lo que llevamos de historia， un tipo de lo más pro， sin ninguna escena que no tenga desperdicio alguna。 La conversación que ha tenido con los mugiwaras es un momento decisivo para la banda， muy importante y necesario para ellos， y que es imposible que no llene de satisfacción al lector， no solo por los datos que aporta sobre su difunto capitán y amigo（ lo que siempre resulta interesante ， ya que Roger es todo un misterio） sino， también， por los ánimos y esperanzas que les da respecto a su aventura。 Esa conversación me ha encantado， demuestra que la búsqueda del One Piece es algo más profundo que una simple aventura marcada por las ansias de fama， poder y oro。 Define lo que es esta historia， principalmente una oda sobre la amistad y la libertad。 Y también porque vemos que lo que pasa por la cabeza de Luffy no es solo emular a Roger o cumplir la promesa que le hizo a su admirado Shanks ， pues como dice él ``el rey de los piratas tienen que ser la persona más libre sobre el mar´´。 Pero después de este momento tan decisivo， viene una de esas peleas que van a quedar para el recuerdo de los fans。 Personalmente las diferentes luchas de los miembros de los supernovas contra Borsalino y los Pacifistas me han dado un poco igual， con excepción de la de Law y Kid。 De todas maneras， me ha gustado que Oda usará tan bien a la gran cantidad de personajes que nos presento en el tomo anterior。 La lucha que realmente me tiene desgarrada es la de los mugiwaras contra Borsalino， los pacifistas （dos， ni más ni menos） y Sentomaru （ personaje que no me ha dicho ni mucho ni nada）， y que ahonda en el misterio viviente que es el personaje de Kuma y el qué son exactamente los pacifistas。 Hasta ahora， en todos los combates， aunque tuvieran aparentemente todo en contra， uno siempre percibía una esperanza que le hacia saber que los mugiwaras， por muy duro que fuera el combate， iban a vencer。 En la ultima parte de este combate falta totalmente esta sensación， es cambiada por todo lo contrario， y por ello resulta muy triste。 Sobre todo si sabes lo que va a venir en el siguiente tomo。 Este que nos ocupa termina con un cliffhanger de los más grandes y bestiales。 Incluso sabiendo que va a pasar después tengo el corazón en un puño。 。。。more

Gran tomo。 Se nota que el siguiente arco， la guerra， será impresionante。Si bien en el tomo pasado nos introdujeron muchos personajes， la mayoría eran piratas novatos con recompensas extraordinarias， producto de habilidades impresionantes， como Luffy; pensé que esos personajes serían desaprovechados， los utiliza directamente en este volumen lleno de acción。Tenemos enfrentamientos a diestra y siniestra， lo que era de esperar ya que todos los personajes le advirtieron a Luffy y su tripulación de lo Gran tomo。 Se nota que el siguiente arco， la guerra， será impresionante。Si bien en el tomo pasado nos introdujeron muchos personajes， la mayoría eran piratas novatos con recompensas extraordinarias， producto de habilidades impresionantes， como Luffy; pensé que esos personajes serían desaprovechados， los utiliza directamente en este volumen lleno de acción。Tenemos enfrentamientos a diestra y siniestra， lo que era de esperar ya que todos los personajes le advirtieron a Luffy y su tripulación de lo peligroso que era iniciar un conflicto en esta isla。 Tenemos muchas peleas al mismo tiempo con varios personajes nuevos mostrando habilidades impresionantes。Hay partes muy emocionantes como lo son el Team-Up de Luffy， Trafalgar y Eustas。Misterios surgen y el encuentro de Luffy y su tripulación con Rayleigh fue uno de los mejores momentos de la serie。 Porque sin decir mucho， les dio seguridad y confianza y motivó a Luffy a seguir luchando para ser el rey de los piratas。Los nuevos personajes son temibles y sus poderes impresionantes， el nuevo arco de la guerra realmente apunta para ser uno de los mejores。 El misterio de Bartolomew y los Peacekeepers está interesante， me gustaría ver a dónde lleva eso y porque hay esos robots súper poderosos。El final del volumen pone a todos en una posición interesante para arrancar la siguiente parte de la historia。 。。。more
